In 2012, the United Nations estimated that 11 percent of the global population had no access to an improved source of drinking water.
A low-cost technology that delivers a precise dose & makes water safe for consumption; Chlorine dispensers placed in immediate vicinity of wells and other water sources for public use. The Dispensers for Safe Water Program, an initiative of Evidence Action, works closely with local authorities & staff to manufacture, install & maintain dispensers in rural Kenya, Malawi & Uganda. In each community, a local promoter takes care of the dispenser, educates on its use & monitors usage.
